We all look for motivation during tough times , and all of us face times like these in our life. A lot of us are self-motivated ,we learn from our life, our past and the mistakes we have made and we move forward but some of us need a push to overcome hurdles. If you’re one of those people, try following these four golden rules.
Just look back and see how far you have come. You have gone through so much and you have faced it all by yourself, and overcame lots of problems. Be proud of yourself, and tell yourself that this is just a small problem like all the other ones, and look for solutions to your problem. Focus on becoming happier, and less stressed because you have made it this far.
Think to yourself, can I find a solution to my problem or is it not in my control? If it is in your control, try to fix it by changing your attitude, or your habits but if it isn’t in your control, stay strong, keep your mental health stable by taking regular breaks and prepare yourself to face similar problems in case they arrive in the future.
If the problem is persistent because it is caused by people around you, sit down and discuss the problem, communication is key to any kind of relationship. However, if the person is toxic or using you in any way, or bad for your mental health, cut them out of your life, ignore them and move on.
Spend time with family and friends, people that will motivate you in your life and help you overcome your problems. Speak to people you trust and let it all out. If you have no one to talk to, remember that no one knows you as well as you do and always remember that you can reach out to people online, using platforms such as Childline, the Samaritans and other helplines.
